Holy Rosary Primary School
The Holy Rosary School is split over two sites, the Infants section is situated in Aintree Lane and the Junior section is located in Oriel Drive. The school has a roll of approximately 400 children.

There are no secondary schools within the village boundaries and the vast majority of the local children attend one of the three Secondary schools in nearby Maghull.
Deyes High School
Located in Deyes Lane Maghull. Bus transport is provided for Aintree children. Aintree Village is on the edge of the catchment area for Deyes High School so only a small minority of Aintree children are accepted into Deyes each year.

Maghull High School
Located in Ormonde Drive Maghull; free bus transport is provided for Aintree children. The majority of children moving from Aintree Davenhill Primary School to secondary education will attend Maghull High School but Aintree Davenhill is not a feeder school to Maghull High School.

Maricourt High School
Located in Hall Lane Maghull. Bus transport is provided for Aintree children and the school is also within easy walking distance from Maghull station so some local children prefer to take the train from Old Roan Station to Maghull. This is the Roman Catholic Secondary School for Maghull and district. Most children who attend Holy Rosary for their Primary education will move up to Maricourt for their Secondary Education.
